Disturbia hasn't been in the cinema five minutes and already Dreamworks are lining up a sequel.
Movieworld appears to be jumping on the bandwagon, and getting the most out of, the formula that is currently drawing people to the cinema - the horror/thriller genre, with a fairly unknown cast that was made from a limited budget.
So man of the moment Shia LaBeouf looks set to return to star in a loose remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window.
It's been a highly successful year for Shia LaBeouf, who was virtually unknow when 2007 began, after his summer blockbuster Transformers.
Since then he recieved praise for his role in A Guide to recognising Your Saints as well as voicing Cody Maverick in animation hit Surf's Up.
On a $20 million budget LaBeouf has led Disturbia to a $115 million return at the worldwide box office.
He will also star in the Indy 4 movie which is due out next summer.
