LaBeouf's co-stars Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and Jon Voight are yet to confirm if they plan to sign up for the sequel.
Fox, 21, played LaBeouf's love interest Mikaela Barnes, with Duhamel portraying valiant soldier Captain Lennox, and Voight taking the role of US Defense Secretary John Keller.
'Transformers 2' is set to be released in 2009.
