Woods refused to appear in CSI

U.S. TV show CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION have been turned down by Ronnie Wood, Rolling stones star, who was asked to be in the show but his rocker friend Roger Daltrey warned him it’s too hard.

The guitarist refused to take the part of a safe-cracker in the TV drama after The Who frontman told him how hard filming his own cameo on the show was.

In a 2006 episode of the hit show Daltrey appeared as a master of disguise.

"They wanted me to be Uncle Ron the safe cracker, but I saw Roger Daltrey do a guest appearance (and) he said it was all too much - no time to rehearse, and he had to play five parts. “I said, `No,' I didn't really want to go in like that." Said Wood to the UK’s Virgin Radio.
