Morrissey has fired his long-term manager.
Merck Mercuriadis has been axed in favour of the former Smiths frontman signing a deal with the management company who currently look after Robbie Williams.
Merck insists he isn't bitter about the axe - and says it comes as a relief as he can now take some time off.
He said: "Over the last five years, Morrissey and I have had three albums which entered the charts at five, two and one, and had 10 top 20 singles and sold hundreds of gigs all over the world from London to Los Angeles
"I believe my penance is complete and Saint Morrissey has granted my absolution."
Morrissey is due to perform at London's Wireless festival in July, an appearance he says he is looking forward to.
He said: "I am honoured to be asked to headline on July 4, marking my 26th year haunting British music, and following the Hyde Park greats - T Rex, Joan Armatrading, and someone with insecure teeth.
