Frank Hamilton's Morrissey wish

4 months ago 22nd May 13:15

Frank Hamilton wants to duet with Morrissey - but thinks it will never happen.

The 'Waking Up At Three' singer says he found Morrissey "humble but withdrawn" after meeting him but believes the legendary singer is too ithdrawn to perform with him.

Frank said: "I'd love to duet with Morrissey but I don't think it would ever happen. He's nice but seems quiet and withdraws into himself with new people.

"I met him backstage after he played a gig at the Roundhouse in London and I found him very humble. He came out with three bodyguards."

The singer - who is currently in the top 10 of iTunes Folk chart - also said he doesn't mind his tag of 'the folk Mike Skinner.'

Frank added to BANG Showbiz: "I think it's flattering. I mean, Mike Skinner is a genius. I used to listen to his album 'Original Pirate Material' all the time in sixth form.

"You can go out ad you see all those people he's talking about in his songs, that narrative quality that I always try to achieve."
