David woke up and immediately set about reminding the Camp that today was his birthday. Talking to Brian, David decided to sing ‘Happy Birthday DVD’ to himself, later Joe and Esther also sang happy birthday to the singer but there was one member of the group refused to join in the festivities.
‘Waking up today with anticipation and having a fantastic day because its my birthday’ said David, ....there’s one person whose so bitter and twisted and mean spirited, couldn’t even come over and wish me you know or even say have a nice day. Nicola just can’t bring herself to do it.’
Joe cheered up the singer by giving him a birthday massage.
‘This is a good birthday present’ said David. ‘That was lovely, thank you very much, what a treat.’
Later in the Bush Telegraph Nicola added, ‘At the end of a day it’s a birthday....(he’s) probably had seventy of them.’
