Mariah Carey Denies Lavish Wedding Plans....
Mariah Carey has denied she and her new husband Nick Cannon are planning a $4 million (£2 million) wedding ceremony in New York this summer (08).
It had been reported the newlyweds, who married in the Bahamas last month (30Apr08), were planning to host an extravagant reception to renew their vows in front of their friends and family.
Although Carey hasn't ruled out plans for the ceremony, she insists the reported multi-million dollar price tag is laughable.
In a statement to Mtv.co.uk she writes, "4 milly? (million) On what? Cake?
Lol (laugh out loud)".
