Lenny Kravitz has denied he is joining Velvet Revolver.
The 'American Woman' rocker was named as a possible new frontman for the band earlier this week, but has insisted he will not be becoming part of the super-group, who have been without a singer since Scott Weiland's departure in April.
Lenny is quoted as saying: "I know and love the Velvet Revolver guys but there is no truth to the story about me joining their band."
Velvet Revolver denied last week that Spacehog rocker Royston Langdon was set to join them, despite him recently performing with the group.
When asked if Royston was set to join, bassist Duff McKagan said: "At this point I'd have to say no."
Explaining the delay in finding a new singer, Duff said they "have to make sure it's the right guy."
He added: "We were just seeing how it feels with different singers.

how about Lukas Rossi from Rockstar:Supernova? the kid can sing, and could be kept on a pretty short leash!
