Kelly's Lawyers Point Out Mole Difference In Sex Tape.

R. Kelly's lawyers have continued to deny the singer features in a sex tape at the centre of his child pornography trial, insisting the man in the video bears key physical differences from the star.

Kelly stands accused of videotaping himself having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Opening statements in the trial got underway in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday (20May08), and prosecutors told the jury members they will have to watch the explicit footage of an "underage child performing sex acts that you have never seen before".

But the defence have argued that Kelly is not the man in the tape - making reference to a mole on the R&B star's penis, which the male in the sex video reportedly does not have.

The girl thought to be in the video, who is now 23, has maintained that she isn't the female in the footage, and Kelly's attorneys backed up her claims.

According to website tmz, they told jurors the female in the sex video wasn't the "sweet and nice" girl they knew, because "the woman in this tape is a prostitute".The trial continues.

Meanwhile its been revealed a rape victim assigned to the jury in R. Kelly's child pornography trial has quit after just one day of work after learning her boss wouldn't pay her for the time she spent in court.

Juror 68 asked to be excused shortly after opening statements were made in the case in Chicago, Illinois.
