The Line up for the Edinburgh International Film Festival has been announced.
The festival will show 142 films between June 18 and 29, including 15 premieres, and will be separate from the main Edinburgh International Festival for the first time.
The event opens with 'The Edge of Love', a literary romance thriller starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy.
Other featured movies include the latest animated film from Pixar studios, 'Wall.E'; British director Shane Meadows' 'Somers Town' and 'Standard Operating Procedure' by Oscar-wining director Errol Morris - a film about US military operations in Iraq, which is likely to cause controversy.
The closing movie will be British made romantic comedy 'Faintheart'.
Two films featuring British actor Sir Ben Kingsley - 'The Wackness' and 'Elegy'- will also be shown, as well as a retrospective of the work of actress Jeanne Moreau.
