Jason Beghe is in trouble with the law after allegedly attacking a gardener on his Malibu, California property.
The TV regular, who appears in the upcoming X-Men: First Class movie, is under criminal investigation for allegedly attacking Daniel Montalvo after he spotted him misusing his equipment, while clearing weeds.
Montalvo filed a police report and now Beghe faces a possible misdemeanor battery charge, according to TMZ.com.
It's not the first time the actor's temper has got the better of him - he was convicted in 2009 with accosting a process server.
Beghe, an ex-Scientologist, feels sure his latest legal wrangle is linked to his former ties to the religion, telling the website, "It's probably the Church of Scientology f**king with me.
"They have it out for me."
