Sinatra Signs Deal With Warner....
Singing legend Frank Sinatra is making a comeback nine years after his death - his family have signed a deal with Warner Bros. to give his music a new lease of life.
Warner has set up a 'global partnership' with the Sinatra estate to manage all of his music, films and stage work, and handle all licensing of his name and likeness.
Their partnership - called Frank Sinatra Enterprises - was brokered by the superstar's three children Nancy, Tina and Frank Sinatra Jr.
A statement released by the Sinatras reads, "We were extremely selective in choosing a partner with whom to manage our father's life work. It was a process that took several years".
Warners hopes it can emulate the success Elvis Presley has achieved since his death, through re-releases. The King's estate recently announced profits of $49 million (£24.5 million) in the last year (06-07).
