Make up artist Jemma Kidd gives Female First some top tips for adding some festive glitz to your peepers.
"A look I love and really promote in my school ,and which is perfect for Christmas, is what we call grown up glitter," explains Jemma.
"It just gives that instant glamour and really lives your make up and turns it into real party make up. We do it in a line and we call it grown up glitter because it's very very fine so it's not over the top or, what I call, crunchy on the eyelid."
"It's very fine glitter which sort of catches the light and gives a very fun party look. If you normally wear eyeliner for instance you can just use what we call, crush jewel liners, over the top and it instantly turns it into more of a party look. This is great because you don't want to be having to put much make up before these parties."
Jemma's Top Tips for AVoiding A Glitter Disaster
"Use a cream eyeshadow on your eyelid and then dab a little bit of glitter over the top so it holds the glitter."
"Sometimes using brushes can be hard so I always use those sponge applicators."
"You've also got to be really sure that you don't put your foundation on first. That way you can add the glitter to your eyes and if you drop any on your face you can wipe it off and then apply foundation."
