Ne-Yo's hat habit is draining his cash - he once spent $5,000 (£3,333) on a single piece of headwear.
The So Sick singer is rarely seen in public without wearing a trilby or cap, and he admits his quirky style sense sometimes proves expensive.
He tells British rock magazine NME, "The most money I've spent on a hat is anywhere from three to five grand. It is (a lot)... for a hat."
