Kevin picks up his clothes as Shirley wakes up. Shirley promises Kevin that she will not to stir things. Kevin tells her that he came back to rebuild his family. Pat is utterly flabbergasted when Kevin walks into the bookies. Kevin asks for Pat’s help in putting his family back together. Deano gets a text from Shirley wanting to meet him urgently. Deano arrives at the allotments and is delighted to see Kevin. Deano quickly discovers that Carly saw Kevin last night. Kevin tells him that he had asked Carly not to tell Deano. Peggy has a go at Kevin when he enters the Vic. Shirley tries to talk to Deano with little success. Chelsea enters with Sean. She sees Kevin and exits the pub. Carly apologises to Pat and Deano. Chelsea tells Denise that Kevin is back. Kevin has explained everything to his family. He is worried about Denise’s reaction but Carly tells him that Denise still loves him. Libby is delighted to see Kevin but warns him that Denise knows he’s back. He tries to explain to Denise that he had to see his children first. Denise tells him that he is too late and slams the door in his face…Preeti phones in sick, so Tanya can’t make lunch that Max has arranged. Stacey is irritated by Chelsea having spent the night with Sean. She cheers up when she gets a text from Max suggesting they have lunch. Stacey gets into Max’s car but has to hide as Keith walks past. Stacey and Max’s lunch has gone badly – she felt out of place. Stacey stalks off upset. Stacey is upset when she sees Max treating Tanya like a lady. Ben is upset that Phil is going away for the night. Stella offers to stay over and keep Ben company. Ben isn’t comfortable with Abi being rude about Stella because he likes her now. He admits to Abi that he got lost in the London Dungeons. Abi later reveals this to Peggy. Stella brushes over it. Stella’s smile fades as she looks at Ben. Stella asks Ben how can they be friends if she can’t trust him? Keith tells Dawn that she should start thinking about buying things for the baby and suggests that she thinks about getting some benefits. Dawn tells Rob that she’s fed up of waiting. Rob agrees to see her later. Keith is annoyed at the way Dawn is being treated. Rob is perplexed when Keith turns up at his office wanting financial support for Dawn. Dawn is upset when Rob tells her he can’t see her tonight. He tells her that he’s going to apply for a job in the Hull so they can start a new life together. May checks with Rob that Dawn believed him about going to Hull. Darren is impressed that Keith got £200 from Rob. Dawn arrives home utterly fed up. Billy receives but doesn’t open a red bill. Phil is annoyed that he has received a letter threatening court action over Billy’s unpaid council tax bills – he tells Billy that he only needs to ask if he is in trouble. Billy tells him that he can handle his money. Phil leaves and Billy decides to open all of his red bills.
