The Noisettes’ infectious, upbeat sound has successfully penetrated the British music scene with dizzying speed in the past two years. The group are fresh from their sell-out UK tour, and are renowned the world over for their explosive live shows and electrifying vocals.
Support comes in the form of Tinashe, a hugely talented, up-and-coming singer-songwriter from hailing from Zimbabwe via Hackney, who can conjure up sheer magic with his guitar. A long-time supporter of vinspired Lake of Stars, Tinashe is taking time out from his busy summer schedule to support the night with his beautiful tones and unique fusion of indie-pop guitar based tunes.
This will be a particularly inspiring gig for both the Noisettes and Tinashe, who have roots in Malawi and neighbouring Zimbabwe and will join thousands of festival-goers from all over the globe travelling to the warm heart of Africa this October to headline this year’s vinspired Lake of Stars Festival.
This is sure to be a mesmerising evening celebrating a melting pot of the very best of British and African culture, mirroring the spectacle showcased at the festival itself. Just like the festival, August’s gig will be powered by a team of hard-working volunteers and will present an exciting opportunity to get a glimpse of what the festival is all about.
