AC/DC's Iron Man 2 soundtrack is Europe's top album.

The rockers' revamped hits album has topped the charts in the U.K., Ireland, Germany and Austria and debuted in the top five in Norway, France, Spain and The Netherlands to take over at number one, ending Lady Gaga's reign with The Fame.

The all-rocking soundtrack has also entered the U.S. and Canadian album charts at number two. It debuted at one on the newly-released New Zealand countdown.

Love Auditioned For Mickey Mouse Club

Courtney Love auditioned for a role on kids show The Mickey Mouse Club under the name Coco Rodriguez when she was a child.

The rocker picked the moniker because Rodriguez was her stepfather's name and she hated Courtney.

The ambitious pre-teen sent off photos and landed the chance to perform for the show's casting directors in Seattle, Washington.

Love recalls, "I read a Dorothy Parker poem and a Sylvia Plath poem about incest, which I had no idea what it was about until many years later."

The same TV bosses who helped to make Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera stars turned her down, but Love insists she was ahead of her time.

She adds, "There's gonna be a new Mouseketeer Club one day... (and) there's gonna be a goth kid in there with little chipped black nails and a hat on... I was 30-something years ahead of my time."

White Eyes Jay-Z Album

Jack White would "love" to record a whole album with Jay-Z  - because he was so impressed with their work on a recent duet.

The White Stripes rocker teamed up with the rap mogul at a studio in New York and they recorded "a couple of things" together.

White reveals working with the hip-hop star "felt good" and he's keen to turn the collaboration into a complete record - but fears the busy pair may not have time to develop the project.

He says, "(We recorded) a couple of things... That felt good and it led on to other things. I would love to (record a whole album) if we can find the time."

Castles Faced Legal Tussle With Groping Fan

Canadian rockers Crystal Castles were threatened with legal action from a man who was left battered and bruised after he tried to grope frontwoman Alice Glass.

The duo was playing a show when an unnamed audience member lunged at Glass in a desperate bid to "cop a feel", according to keyboard player Ethan Kath.

The man was struck on the head by a microphone during the incident, suffering cuts to his face, and later threatened to sue the band.

But they were so outraged, Crystal Castles vowed to countersue for indecent assault - and the man dropped the case.

Kath tells British rock magazine NME, "Unfortunately, there has been violence at some of our gigs in the past. We had one guy who tried to cop a feel and got a microphone smashed against his skull so hard that he was bleeding all over the place.

"He wanted to sue us and we had to point out that we would countersue for indecent assault and he dropped it. He was one 45-year-old guy standing stock still right down at the front while everyone else was having a really good time. And then he just reached out and tried to f**k with her..."

Def Leppard Slam Split Reports

Rockers Def Leppard have laughed off speculation of a split, insisting they couldn't "imagine doing anything else" if they ditched the band.

The Hysteria hitmakers prompted rumours of a break-up in October (09) after they cancelled 23 dates on their North American tour, citing "unforeseen personal matters", and failed to reschedule the gigs.

But singer Joe Elliott insists the trek was only cancelled so he could tend to his wife Kristine, who was expecting their first child.

He tells TheStar.co.uk, "There wasn't any mystery to it really. My wife was pregnant and needed a bit of attention from me, which she wasn't getting. There was a lot of things (sic) in our private lives that needed attending to. We're not splitting. Not at all. We often joke, what else would we do? You just can't imagine doing anything else."

The 50 year old became a dad earlier this year (10).
