Joan Collins' 'good genes'

Joan Collins claims she doesn't need cosmetic surgery - because she's got "good genes".

The 72-year-old actress insists she is determined to grow old gracefully, with nothing but her natural looks - and a lot of make-up.

She revealed: "I believe in lashings and lashings of make-up. The women I know who have worn it since they were teenagers look better than those who haven't because it protects your skin

"My looks are good because I come from a good genetic pool. I have taken care of what I have - I've never taken drugs, I drink in moderation and I don't really smoke"

Joan claims she will never go under the surgeon's knife because people who do look like "chipmunks"

She said: "I don't want to look young I want to look good Cosmetic surgeons just want to make you look young

"But I think Botox is poison And injecting fat into your face makes you look like a chipmunk"
