Panic descends on the Barnes household as they wake up to discover Kathy (Sarah Jane Buckley) and Leah missing. The Barnes mount a search party, but Mike (Tony Hirst) decides to call the police when they draw a blank. Gilly's (Anthony Quinlan) curiosity about Hannah's (Emma Rigby) behaviour is aroused when he eavesdrops on her and Melissa (Carla Chases). Confronting Hannah, Gilly makes a shocking accusation, but he's got the wrong end of the stick. It has now dawned on Tony (Nick Pickard) and Jacqui (Claire Cooper) that they are stuck sharing their flat with Carmel (Gemma Merna) and Aleksander (Jon Lolis).
