Bethany Hamilton lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a champion again, inspiring millions worldwide through her sheer determination and unwavering faith.
AnnaSophia Robb takes on the central character of Bethany and she is supported by Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt, who play her parents.
The movie is directed Sean McNamara, who also had a hand in penning the script, and is based on Bethany’s memoir 'Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family and Fighting to Get Back on the Board.
Soul Surfer promises to be an emotion journey and yet one filled with courage as this young woman defies the odds and faces her fears.
