Colin Firth tried to steal his white spandex costume from the set of 'Mamma Mia!'
The 47-year-old actor - who stars as Harry 'Head Banger' Bright in the movie, adapted from the hit musical based on the songs of ABBA - sheepishly admitted he was so keen on the outfit he wore in the dance sequence for 'Waterloo' that he attempted to take it home.
He said: "I tried to steal my 'Waterloo' costume, but I was caught when I was leaving Pinewood Studios!"
Colin also revealed the prospect of dressing up was one of the things that first attracted him to acting.
He added to BANG Showbiz: "No matter what actors tell you about what motivates them, how they want to change the world or whatever, there's only one thing they want to do - to put a frock on and mince about!"
'Mamma Mia!', which also stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth, is released worldwide later this month.
