The Ashworths are nervous about their first family counselling session. Hannah (Emma Rigby) recognises that her family have started to accept her condition and begins to feel that home is where the heart is. Nancy (Jessica Fox) isn't impressed that Jake (Kevin Sacre) is starting his first day of a new job with a hangover. Zoe (Zoe Lister) is shocked that Darren's (Ashley Taylor Dawson) spending is so out of control. Jacqui (Claire Cooper) is intrigued to find out who Carmel (Gemma Merna) is dating and Carmel is surprised by her reaction when Jacqui finds out the truth.
