Rapper KRS-One and his wife Simone Parker have pulled plans for a memorial service for their son Randy Hubbard Parker, blaming "personal reasons" for the cancellation. The late 23-year-old - KRS' stepson - was found dead in his apartment in Atlanta, Georgia on 6 July (07).Parker claims Randy's suicide from a single gunshot wound to the head was related to severe depression. In announcing the cancellation of the memorial service, which was due to take place in New York on 6 August (07), the couple thanked well-wishers and apologised for their late decision. They tell AllHipHop.com, "If the hundreds of letters and responses to the announcement of the passing of our son are any indication, we know that through you, his life and spirit will forever be celebrated and live on."We extend our apologies to all who have come to our support, volunteered your time and services and planned to attend the service. We trust that you understand and respect our decision."
