Five days in and still so much to see at New York Fashion Week. Cynthia Steffe will be starting things today in the salon at 9am.
London designer Matthew Williamson will be following at 10am. He now calls New York his home from home and has been showing in NYC since 2002. His new collection is bound to reflect his colourful personality, with bright kaleidoscopic patterns and prints.
At 11 am French designer Monique Lhuillier will be showing on the Promenade- expect to see lots of luxury fabrics and new shapes in her latest collection.
The afternoons festivities kick off at 1pm with Iódice in the salon, followed at 2pm by Betsey Johnson in the fashion tents. Betsey is well known for her whimsical and feminine designs and we're sure this collection will be nothing short of stunning from the Connecticut designer.
At 3pm Dennis Basso will be showing his controversial collection in the promenade, featuring fur and feathers. Basso is celebrating his 25th anniversary as a furrier this year, and is well known for his use of extravagant furs in his collections.
In the Salon at 5pm Joanna Mastroianni takes centre stage, followed closely by Max Azria in the fashion tents at 6pm.
Rounding things off on day five, is Vivienne Tam showing her collection on the promenade. Expect to see lots of Chinese design in her modern fashionable collection.
