Take a little bit of The Monkees, a little bit of McFly and throw in a large helping of Northern Irish Charm and boyish good looks and you have the perfect recipe for feel-good pop in the shape of Bel’s Boys. The lovable lads are set to release People Let’s Go, their eagerly-anticipated album of pop perfection on 16th April.Born and bred in Northern Ireland, the three boys Graham McKee (vocals, bass), Luke O’Reilly (guitar) and Eoin Logan (drums) got together just over a year ago in Belfast to appear as Vince, Tay and Vince in the hugely popular CiTV show Bel’s Boys. Whilst working on the show, the lads realized that they had more than just acting in common; they shared a love of music and performing. So, just over a year later, they have made the move from the small screen to the stage to become bona-fide pop stars and record their debut album.People Let’s Go is a pop-tastic collection of 12 guitar pop tracks that will help to turn the guys into the biggest boy band in the country. With a smattering of rocked up covers (including I Think We’re Alone Now and She’s Not There) and tracks written by some of the industry’s most established and successful songwriters, coupled with fantastic live performances, Bel’s Boys are ready to take their position as THE hottest new pop act of the year. All around 20 years old, Bel’s Boys are fun-loving, cheeky lads but their music has the catchy, broad appeal which will open them up to a whole new audience as well as their teen fans. The show’s instantly catchy theme tune, Today’s The Day, will be released as a single the week before the album on 9th April 2007. Thanks to their mammoth army of adoring female fans, it is sure to catapult them to the top of the charts. Watch this space….
