Sowing Secrets

2 months ago 12th Mar 16:45

40something cartoonist Fran March is living an idyllic life in the heart of rural North Wales. An idyllic life until now, that is.

Her whole world has gone topsy-turvy. For starters, her daughter Rosie the result of an uncharacteristic one-night stand 18 years ago has become incredibly (not to mention stubbornly) curious as to who her real father is.

Then there’s Fran’s husband Mal who is spending more and more time on his hobbies and less and less time on her.

Things get even more out of hand when handsome TV gardener Gabriel Weston turns up on her doorstep.

He’s here currently restoring her village’s decrepit stately home, but they know each other from way back.

And when Fran’s ex-boyfriend Tom shows up, it seems all ghosts from Fran’s romantic past are back to haunt her.

Can Fran keep Rosie’s paternity under wraps? Why is Mal acting so oddly?

Set in the equally beautiful but massively contrasting locations of North Wales and the Cayman Islands, Sowing Secrets has something for everyone: humour, drama and romance.

Trisha Ashley gave up her fascinating but time-consuming hobbies of house-moving and divorce a few years ago in order to settle in North Wales.

She has had many part-time jobs over the years, but her current one as a seasonal worker for the National Trust neatly combines three of her greatest interests: historic houses, gardens and meeting people. She also paints, usually in oils and occasionally watercolours.
