Ok, So my Sons Doctor told us that we just do Monthly checkups on our 13 yera old son down in his penis area. This might sound kind of odd but that what he said.. Anyway we look at his penis and realized that even erected it was only like 2 1/2 inches! I dont know what to do.. Please help!

I am a little amazed he lets you check anything down there at his age. You don't say what you are checking for but he shouldnt be aroused when you do it. That could be construed as sexual abuse in some circles so do be careful, he should be able to check himself, I am assuming he his fully able bodied, of course some people are not and require additional assistance in such matters. Size really is not important, he is 13 not 23 so just let him carry on growing up normally.

The average size is about 6 inches. But with any average some are bigger and some are smaller.
I think the sensitive area of a girl's vagina is said to be the first 2 inches. So he has enough length.

I have to agree with most of the postee's who say that it shouldn't matter about your son's size. But I strongly agree with Sister Hazel on this topic. I also agree that if anything, I had rather have a son with a smaller than average penis than one with a larger or average penis. Most guys when they get older think with the wrong head, and maybe if his thing was less prevelent, he would think with the right head.

this subject is not theat weird or unusual as every one say.
i am 17 year old male, and in my case it is not my mom, but it my dad who used to do these regular inspections. instead of going for a physical to a doctor, he does this himself at our house. every couple months, he fix up a time, and i go for the complete physical check up by my dad.
there is nothing unusual in that. he checks my top to bottom, including my privates. (obviously this needs to strip completely). i dont feel odd at this.
he checks and measures my sizes as well. (both erect as well as soft). sometimes he observes if there is lice in pubic area and instructs me to have a better clean. however, this exercise needs no age barrier, as i feel more close and loveable to my dad. my dear dad. thank u dad.
