My son 2 1/2 is scared to go to sleep at night because he thinks monsters are hiding under his bed. What should me and my husband do to help him sleep better at night.

Wow, didn't realise so many kids see things. My daughter used to freak me out a little, every now and then when she was in bed she used to sit upright and stare straight at the corner of the room with tears rolling down her face but not sobbing.

This got worse and worse so I starting putting her in bed with me, a few nights was great then she did it again but this time she was in my room, straight up right in bed, tears down her face staring at the door way, this time she looked at me without blinking and said 'that girl with black hair is by your door now mummy, can I go back in my room away from her'.

I asked loads of people for a meaning and nobody came up with anything helpful and useful, I even got told she was having night terrors.

She is fine now and hasnt done it since we moved, but all the same, still very strange.

I hope things calm down for you too!

I tell my parents i see them now, and i have done for a while. They dont believe me though. I think you should believe your child, because i know what it feels like to be told im lying. These ghosts dont want to hurt your Child, they are simply there to watch over them at a young age.

Heres whats been happining ,My daughter was no more than two or three
and at the stage that she could wave hi , bye and just beginning to talk.We have a street in our town that has 2 cemeteries on opposite sides of the street. On the rt. side was Catholic and the other is a Lutheran .we drove by them often and she would get all excited and wave and yell Hi at the top of her lungs .It was eerie .When we asked her who she was waving and saying hi to ,she said that there was a lot of people waving to her. But only on one side of the street. The Lutheran side. She also told us that they were very very happy. this went on for quite a few months and we often took the long way home to avoid the grave yard. She is now 7 yrs old and one afternoon (I should tell you that all her sightings took place in day light hrs.) on our way home we passed the grave yard and she asked if that was the grave yard where she has seen "the people" .I told her yes and asked her if she saw something as we passed it .She said she saw a soldier and he was saluting her. We had thought that her seeing spirits had passed but now we are not too sure.

i would like to know if my 2 year old daughter is seeing spirits or whether i am just being silly !!!
a few weeks ago my mum ,my daughter and i went to our yearly visit to a london cemetry where a few of my mums relatives are buried. the cemetry is quite large with a chapel centered in the middle.after passing the chapel to visit our last grave we arrived at a cross roads at which point my daughter become very frightened and started crying hysterically and would not let go of me and i could see the fear in her face as see looked straight ahead down the road we could not walk down this road and had to continue another way which seemed to settle her.
2 weeks ago we had another expererince with her this time in a welsh pub!
my family and i went to wales to visit family and my mum sister in law her daughter my daughter my son and i were in a little country pub having a chat when my daughter again seemed to be looking at something straight in front of her and suddingly started crying hysterically and clinging to me with great fear in her eyes! i just dont know if im over reacting or she is seeing presences i would like some views???

my little boy is being haunted

Postby aquaizes on Fri Aug 25, 2006 2:35 pm

Maybe somebody can help me. My little boy id waking in the middle of the night screaming. he is 19 months old. He talks very little but knows alot of sign language. Last night was the third night in a row that he woke up screaming. I brought him into my bed because he was shivering and so upset. He imedately went to sleep. Not even an hour later he bolts up in the bed and screams. He was pointing at the door way. I saw something move and I didn't get a good look. I got him to settle down but he wanted down off the bed to go get it and show me. We wondered aroound the house for a 1/2 hour. He finally gave up. He did not want to go back to bed. He just wanted me to hold him. I couldn't lay down or sit. He finally fell asleep and I layed back down with him in bed. My husband got up and went to the bathroom. When he got back he decided to sleep on the couch to give us more room. 2 hours later he bolted up again and this time I just took off after the shadow but lost it around the corner of the bedroom door. My son came running after me and my husband was still asleep on the couch with both cats sleeping with him. they slept right through my son screaming at the couch. All three of them fast asleep? The cats usually scatter if you run at them. they didn't even flinch. I know I was awake and so was my son. It wasn't until I turned on the TV for a little light that the cats even stirred. I spent the next hour trying to calm my son down. He didn't want to lay down, he didn't want to sit and everybody including the cats had to stay where he could see them. Other wise he would start screaming and running after them. My husband woke up shortly after the TV was turned on. My son was finally so exhausted he fell asleep on the floor. I went back to bed and my husband stayed on the couch. A little while later, not sure how much time ahd past, I heard a noise. It sounded like a man moaning. Thinking my husband had come back to bed and was talking in his sleep I rolled over to nudge him. The bed was warm the whole length but no body was there. My son woke up screaming not two seconds after I pulled the covers back. My husband and all the cats where sleeping again and my son was standing in the middle of the family room signing dad, pointing with the other hand and screaming. I didn't see anything move but my son was so scared he filled his diaper. Does anybody know what could be happening? Do you have any advice?

Hi,

When I was 18 my brother died aged 17...A few weeks after he died I seen him as I came out of the bathroom one night. He was stood on the landing and he held my arm and told me everything was going to be ok.

When we were little my brother and I both seen a tall shadow figure stood in a doorway the same time...That was really scary.

My mum died a year later when I was 19....I havent seen her. I live in a house that has always belonged to my family since the 1930's. Sometimes I hear people walking around the landing and most days I can feel people around me as if they are watching over my shoulder.
