We'd like to open a new department for web site design, but I know nothing about PRO graphics software. Can you tell me what software to choose and what it will cost me?

why are you opening this dept? I you don't know anything about the "Pro" software (which is btw the standard nowadays) how is your business likely to succeed?

To match your level of business knowledge I reckon paintbrush is about your level 
But seriously - hire a pro and ask them what they like to use best. All the likely suspects will cost you a few hundred bucks. |
