Hi
I see many brides-to-be are thinking of getting married abroad - or in the very least want a WOW-factor honeymoon to round it all off.
I really would urge you to pass over the commercialised travel agents and have a word with someone like Phil Haines.
Phil Haines is a former Sunday Independent travel columnist and "Rough Guide" consultant who independently organises tailor-made travel for friends and people in the know. A few years ago, the press hailed him as the youngest person to have visited every country in the world.
Phil likes to push the boundaries of travel.
Regarding getting married and honeymoons - he has visited Bali dozens of times, been to Thailand over 100 times and lived in Tahiti. His fave honeymoon destinations are places like: Bali, Zanzibar, classic India, South ., etc. What he doesn't know, no-body knows. He actually listens to you (encourages you to dream a little!), works to your budget, develops your brief and does a detailed itinerary and visa stuff. He's such a travel buff, its worth picking his brains anyway. I really do recommend him. I know he is away travelling right now (May 23rd 06) but will be back soon.
