What exquisit taste. The quintessentially English car. The perfect sports coupe. Go to a good car-parts shop for a book and watch them fall at your feet.
Make love to your partner 3 times a day. |

Don't know any myself..(although I used to have an MG)...but how about logging onto the MG owners club...I'm sure you'll find lots of good advice from other owners.
Good luck with your search |

MG must be one of the world's most written about car companies. Go to a big book shop or have a look on Amazon.co.uk and you'll find dozens of titles.
The only problem you may have is that most books on the subject only cover the period up to 1980 and neglect the more recent models. They can make for pretty dry reading as well.
An alternative possiblity is that you could get him a years subscription to "Total MG" which covers MGs from the 1960's onwards but with particular focus on the more recent cars.
