I took a HPT on March 4th I was 10 days late and having uper abdominal cramping, I figured it was just an infection as I had a yeast infection a week before my period. Then the week of my period I waited 10 days before taking a test, I guess you could say denile but my periods been known to be up to 7 days late and the symptoms I looked up pointed to either an STD or Pregnancy.

The next day I told my boyfriend I was pregnant and he asked me what I was thinking, I said I can't have a kid. He said "You don't have to , there are options you know." We were supposed to go the clinic on Wednesday to get information, Wednesday came we spent the day together and we never went I asked about it and he said he wanted me to not stress about it for a few days and we'd go on Saturday (today) when got off work.

So I start heading there today and he says it's probably closed and we should go sometime next week when we're both off and just get something to eat.

For the past few days from when I've told him until today he's been persistant that an abortion is the right option for me. I've told him that I can't live with that, I can't live with knowing that I chose that. His opinion on the matter is that he's in between "If you keep it then great we get to raise a kid, but I don't think you're ready. And I'm not trying to be mean by saying this but I don't think you're mature enough to have it, the most you've ever had to worry about or be reponsible for is losing your car keys and picking were you eat lunch/dinner."

I'm 20 years old, I still live at home with my parents and I work part time 30 hours a week. No I do not feel I can provide for a kid but I don't think I could live with myself if I aborted it it. He says right now it's just a fertilized egg. I'm trying to think about how far along I am and it has to be 3-5 weeks...

Go in to your doctor by yourself and talk to them (or the family planning clinic), and decide what is right for you. If you want an abortion then you can have a little time to think about it. The other options are keeping the baby for yourself, or giving it up for adoption. Do whatever is best for you. If you need some time away from your boyfriend in order to think about it, then take a week off and go somewhere by yourself.

yea..still haven't seen the doctor that "supposed" to go keeps getting post-poned. But my bf's decision on the matter went from being in the middle about whether or not I keep it, to absolutly not wanting it. He told me that because he already has two kids from a previous relationship and that things aren't running so smoothly right now, that he doesn't want a third child. Maybe in a few years, he said, but not right now.

At first I felt like I could go through with an abortion but after reading about them, I don't think I can. It says that the heart begins beating at 5 weeks and the fetus is so fully developed at six that it already has fingertips.

I know I should just go see a doctor, I just wish there was someone there to just be there for me. It's rough because I don't have any friends, and the only one that knows is my bf. I feel like I can't tell anyone because if I decide to get an abortion they will look at me like I am less of a person, I know I will.
