We had only been going out for a fortnight, we were visiting a mutual friend in hospital and he got down on bended knee been married 15 years in July

I recently had my 35th birthday, and my boyfriend took me to Rome, he proposed in front of the Trevi Fountain in the evening. It was very romantic and I was not expecting it.

We are now looking at getting married next March, on a beach somewhere, but not decided where yet. Have been reading postings put up about Thailand , and that sounds tempting

A year to the day after we met, on the eiffel tower.
While I appreciate he thought it was very unique and romantic, all I could think of was that Tom cruise had proposed to Katie Holmes the same place a few months before, and I felt vaguely embarassed he chose to do it there ; ).
Bless him, he didn't even know that of course, having no interest in celebrity goings on. I'm 30 and he's 41, so its not like we are kids, but i actually giggled when he went down on one knee, and all those other tourists looking on. hehe

I was taken away to Torquay. He rented the penthouse suite in the hotel which had a beautiful huge four poster bed.
I was taken to a very nice cantonese restaurant and after our meal he presented me with a poem asking me to marry him and then presented me with my engagement ring. I didn't know anything about it. I burst into tears there are then.
We are planning to marry next July.

We were in Disneyland Paris, sitting on space mountain when he asked me to marry him. I wasn't expecting it at all and waited unti the ride was over before I answered yes. He always said, if he proposed, he'd do it in a weird place. We were planning to get married this summer, but I just found out that I'm pregnant, so we've put it off until next year.

My H2B owns a small boat which he loves to take out a lot in the summer. One day last july, we were on the boat in the middle of nowhere and he suddenly got down on one knee and asked me. I was trembling so much I almost fell off the boat!
