ACCIDENTALLY DISABLED MICRO. OFFICE

Postby Dating Desert on Mon Oct 03, 2005 11:11 pm

How can I re-enable it? I can't get into Outlook Express anymore. I've made a mess here today with my pc. Also, how to remove this annoying Winpopup for messaging?

Thank you!

DD

My powers are weak, but i sense the force is strong in this one.

For office,
In Xp pro you could just restore the computer to a previously save state (a bit like travelling backwards in time) by going to Start -->help & support .
And click on `undo changes to your computer with system restore`.
Load up another date in the past...

Or shove in your Office CDROM and reinstall, or use the repair button.

As for outlook - forget it.
Those are not the droids you are looking for.

They don’t call it the `virus gateway` for nothing...

Be on your way.

Outlook Express is part of Windows, not Office, which is Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.

What version of OLE do you use? If you're getting some kind of error, try looking at these codes:

to get rid of the "messaging" popup: Admin Tools> Services > disable the "messenger" service
