Morning sickness happens with most women. It's a sign to show the baby is growing.
It usually stops about 15 weeks, as you enter your 2nd trimester. |

this is my my third prgnancy, i lost my first and never sufered with morning sickness, i had awful morning sickness with my daughter which started in week eight and carried on the whole way through, and she was fine. this time around i stared at about week seven, and it got so bad the dr gave me tablets to stop me being sick, it slowed down at about eighteen weeks. I'm now thirty weeks and still sick occasionally, and the baby is doing great.
If anything morning sickness is quite a good sign, it means all those extra pregnancy hormones are there and working well. the HCG levels which a pregnancy test picks up are the ones responsible for making you feel sick, and may actually reduce the chances of a miscarriage.
there is a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarium which is very severe sickness, and may require hospital treatment to help avoid dehydration etc. chances are tho, its just average morning sickness, and i know just how bad 'normal' sickness can be! |
