Excellent! If you have a lot of body fat to lose do about 40 min of cardio 3 times a week as well as the weight training. You'll see a difference in no time. Also try to cut down your fat intake. I eat very little junk food and lots of fresh veggies and lean meats. George Foreman grills are the best thing for cooking meats with as the exess fat drips off and you dont' have to add fat or oil to cook. Don't deprive yourself if you have a craving but try to cut down on sugars and fats as much as you can. Once you get used to eating less fat you wont crave it much at all.
As for weight training, it'll hurt like the blue blazes the 1st couple of times you work out but don't give up. The pain goes away. Might be good to get personal training, even a few sessions, as the trainer can quickly work out a good routine for you. I just started working out at the beginning of this year and I've noticed a huge huge difference in my body. I've got lots of nice toned muscle and I never get bloated when I eat. I've loads of energy and I feel great. I've always been slim but never been fit and now I'm more fit at 39 than I was in my 20s. People have commented on the change in my body and that makes it even more worth while.
Get determined and get motivated and you'll love the results. I guarantee it.
Oh, and after you do a work out make sure you eat protein. It helps to build muscle. I usually have a can of tuna, some sushi or a chicken
breast and veggies. If you're pressed for time you can get protein shakes or bars to keep on hand.
Good luck!! and happy butt busting!!!
