Well, that's it!
I see no way for America NOT to become a social state short of killing all the politicians.
McCain has endorsed a social state mortgage system for the country.
& Society now hates the rich.
I suggest all Americans take their money out of the stock market and sock it under the mattress and become blood sucking socialists!
See, our downfall started with social security!
Friends.... dont save your money...all will be taken care of for you
Had McCain said NO to the bailout I would have said America has a chance of still staying America!
Well... that's it.... that's the only gutless way to solve our mess!
Become a total social state!

Yeah, there's something new and different! In case you missed it, my post is ALL SARCASM! Fred, buddy, I know I'm showing at a bad time for you, and I know you now understand truth and reality are bitter pills to swallow. Have you seen the bumper stickers available that say "I Left the Republican Party, because the Republican Party left me!" Maybe now's a good time to get a few to put on your bumper of the what, Benz? BMW? I really don't mean to kick you when you're down, but I told you so!
The repubs have betrayed you, your values and belief structure. They nominated a pair of incompetents basically from 1968 onwards!

And the market takes another nose dive. Since McCain put his foot in his mouth about bailing out the people with bad mortgages, if anything it now is worse, because they can't see any practical difference between either candidate with respect to their money.

No arguing that bumper sticker!
So, do I go Libertarian?

I don't know, Fred. I know our views on what America should be are closer than we'd think possible, but we differ on which road to take to get there. Both of these guys need to shift their priorities to developing a real plan to stop the bleeding. Any way we go on that, taxes are going to go up. Last night, Bill Maher had David Welker(?), the comptroller for the GAO, and this guy was raving mad about the way the unfinanced spending has been going, since about 2002, I think that's what he said. There are a lot of sources where cute can be made to save a LOT of money, but the campaign is still bogged down in smearing each other. He made sense, but had to maintain a sense of neutrality as far as lib or conserv goes. He wasn't trying to play favorites, just stating whoever ends up in the White House, better do something really fast.

I don't Like Maher.
I just read his Wiki bio and find it interesting he's pro gay but against the people poisoning it's self.
So, I guess that makes him a fool of a Liberal for not understanding shoving your C*** up an arse spreads poison too!
I guess that's why I may have to stay a conservative Republican... I cant justify hypocritical social logic.
