What do you do with a Teenage daughter who wears Thick Black tights with EVERYTHING!! She is 18...i thought id seen the last of Black tights once she left School, but she went through a Goth Phase..Nothing but Black!! shes now thankfully left that behind ..BUT not the tights..she buys these always [BLACK] 120 denier!!!from Newlook if not then 60 denier from M&S...i call her Black legs cause i never see her bare legs..she is slim [size 8] so i dont know what she is hiding.

As long as she is comfortable, does it matter. I for one feel underdressed without I have tights on, granted not a high denier pair. having said that I do feel that tights & stockings enhance rather than detract from bare flesh. You have to be a certain skin tone, and have a certain shape and heels to match to go without in my opinion.

Thats true, must admit I wear tights more often than not as I do feel more comfortable especially for work. I wear all sorts but mainly tan or nude for work

what's the problem with your daughter wearing tights? I think it should be not a problem at all...let ask yourself, will you be happier if she shows her knickers everywhere she went? If not, then I don't see a big deal with her wearing that...support her!
