Alien abduction

Postby jenny247 on Fri Jul 04, 2008 2:24 pm

I regally have really bad dreams, where I am extreme physical pain, I have had then since a child. Some times I remember bits as the pain wakes my mind but not my body, Last week I felt a rip in my check, and now I still have a raised line in my mouth, but it is not where I can bite. last night I had a drilling in my tooth, it was so loud and painful, I woke, but i was still trapped in my body. I don't what to go to the doctor, because they may laugh.

Is there anybody that has similar experiences ? any advice?

I don't believe in aliens but that is closet experience I could describe it as!

I've been abducted by aliens, that's why I'm a dyfunctional freakizoid with no friends and an unhealthy interest in pretty women I can't have

Jenny, ignore the abusive idiot.
Your kind of experience is not uncommon. It’s called a hypnopompic hallucination, and is associated with a minor disorder of the way your body wakes up after you’ve been sleeping. If you find odd marks or scratches on your body, your brain is making an incorrect assumption that they are connected to the hallucination. This phenomenon is probably responsible for almost all the stories of alien abduction, and in earlier times abduction by demons, etc.. It happens in a minority of people, but the occurrence is exactly the same in ‘normal’ people as it is in those with mental problems.
Just be aware that however real they may seem, these are hallucinations, that happen only in the few seconds or minutes when you are waking up. It isn’t anything to worry about, once you realise it isn't real.
