If I primt out anything using Notepad, the title I saved it undr appears at the top of each page. Why? And how do I get rid of it?

Hi Sofie,

Yes you can get rid of the title (and the page number at the bottom) if you want to.

1. Choose the "Page Setup..." menu option from the "File" menu.

2. On the Page Setup window that appears, delete whatever is in the box named "Header" (usually an '&f').

[If you don't want page numbers to appear on your print either then delete whatever is in the box named "Footer" too.]

3. Click OK.

4. When you choose "Print..." from the "File" menu now, the title should have disappeared from the top of the page on the printout.

Hope that helped a bit! :D

An alternative solution is to download and install crimson editor, which is free, and automatically shows html, c/c++, etc., code in editable color. Functionally, it is as easy to use (if not easier) as notepad--just alot more versatile. For those who don't mind paying a little for versatility, there is EditPad Pro, which I use, mainly because I bought it and got used to it before I found out about Crimson Editor.
