"Squanto".... lol Perhaps someone knows a bit more than I would have expected...? lol
Anyway, you are the one protesting too much femboy. Notice just how pissed off you got. Lots of vitriol there. You're not as secure in all that as you claim, are you? Even with the anonymity of the internet.
We rip on you because you're utterly ridiculous. There is simply NO other way around it. Sorry that that upsets you so much, but as they say, the truth often hurts.
Col, SkirtCafe - there's your problem right there. ^^^ You want guys to wear skirts? Not only should you be finding the most masculine ways to do it, you should be chasing people like him with a pitchfork and torch all the way to a surgeon or head shrink. He's hurting your cause, and as such, so is your embrace of him.
As rampant as gays may be in modern society (due mostly to the sheer volume of people infesting this rock), they are still seriously out numbered by straight men, and straight or bi women (who want straight men). Yes, you are right that it's a matter of social perception, but you have to understand what you are fighting. Social perception is that straight men do not wear skirts, therefore, men who do, must either not be straight, or messed up some how. Women (as an aggregate whole) want men who are not messed up, and are masculine. They (nearly) all lust after the "bad boy", men in uniform, rock stars, and fabulously wealthy young rich guys in suits (look at James Bond - men want to be him, women want to be WITH him - real men and women I mean, it's the stuff of fantasy), as well as chisled workout freaks.
Where in any of that does a cross-dresser, or sissy boy fit in? It doesn't.
And that may not matter to you because you are not a sissy-boy (necessarily), but remember, you're not dressing "like a man" (because you are wearing women's clothing, and even underwear in some cases), so therefore, you are percieved as being a sissy-boy.
You want to change that. Why? Because you want everyone else to accept it as being just as masculine as a pair of pants. Well.... That means you have to get women, and straight guys on board.
Wanna know how to prevent that from happening? People like femboy. Embrace them, and ensure you have to fight this battle for your entire life.
And while you're at it, why skirts? We've been here before, but I mean, seriously.... what the hell is so wrong with a kilt that you need a skirt? Kilts for the street, spa-wraps for being sexy at home, and sarongs for the beach, and you're good. Nevermind that shorts are a great alternative as well, which in many places are already looked down on, but still seen as ok for men (therefore meaning you'd have a better shot at gaining acceptence in and for such things), and they do the same things - show off leg, giving the opposite gender something to look at, and provide better airflow, cooling and comfort. Why denim, mini, pencil, and other skirts? That's just hurting your cause.
