I recently hooked up with an old friend of mine. We haven't been on friendly terms for a while. I dated her back in freshmen year of high school.

We did all the usual stuff when people fall in love. It went from good times to "I wanna stab your back". Then she avoided me. We had small talk, but the sight of me disgusted her. After High school graduation, I never heard from her again, the last thing she told me was "you need to grow up".

Even after she left, I liked her. I am doing OK but have some mixed feelings. After 4 years, she has managed to find me and contact me. We did talk and such, but she wants to see me. After the many years of spit and hate towards me for being immature, she wants us to find a place to sit down and talk, like old friends.

Do I go through with it? or just shut her out?

I say go for it. Only because this was high school. People do change and she's now an adult. You can see what she's all about and if she hasn't changed you get to see it with your own eyes. You won't ever have to wonder if you should have met up with her. If she really hurt you badly.... then don't go. But since your posting about it .... I think you want to... Good luck.
