Hi all im new here so be nice Smile

ok so my last period was on the 1st April, My period is usually regular so it is due on the 1st of May.

But I have been feeling quite sick, mornings and evenings. Some smells make me sick, and I'm getting a horrible taste in my mouth, My breasts are bigger but not sore. Also getting a stringy discharge Embarassed oh and my mood is up and down like a yoyo.

I was just wondering if I could get symptoms this early on if I am pregnant?

Also could I be making myself have these symptoms? I have always wanted to be a mum! I have a fiancé and we always talk about having children.

I will take a test if my period is late but I just wanted some advice.

Thanks

kay

i'm 18wks myself at the moment and I took a test at 4 and a half weeks.
My symptoms were that I was getting very emotional in the afternoons at about 5pm every day, I would just cry for no reason and become really sad.
My boobs were tender like I was due for a period and I was quite fatigued.

Really the only way to know is take a test.

There is no set of rules for pregnancy every woman experiences things differently and the threshhold for what is normal is quite wideranged. Some people get no symptoms for 3 months, some people *know* after 2 weeks it's all different so pee on that stick and good luck with a positive if thats what you're hoping for.

(phantom pregnancy symptoms can occur in people who are hoping for a child. It's just like if you were exposed to an lethal illness you could possibly start experiencing symptoms of the illness because of the fear of getting it even if you hadn't contracted it)

My last period was on the 26th of March (i have a 35 day cycle) I did a test today as I was 9 days late and it was very definately positive. I kinda thought i might be pregnant, back ache, feeling sick and very tired! Also boobs were sore kinda like before you get your period but all the time and theyve gotten bigger already!

does anyone know how I can work out how pregnant I am?

Hi!!! Congratulations Laughing !!! Have a look at this link...

Ahhh thanks for that! Thats so sweet of you. Its weird because Ive been late before because of stress and you always think oh maybe im pregnant! It wasnt planned I was a bit like this test is a waste of money but then I was pleasantly surprized. I was a bit shocked but seem to be coming round to the idea.

I'm Laura btw I'm 22 in a couple of weeks so quite young I know its very early days but still exciting!

Hi Laura!!! Wow...what a nice surprise! Laughing Have you started telling people yet? I am coming up 26 weeks now, and feeling fab! Didn't really have any morning sickess, felt sick when I was hungry, but unsure of what I wanted...actually lost 9lbs during the first trimester! Now all I crave is junk! Confused
I'm 28, married, we were trying for a year and a half, and ended up on fertility treatment, and I'm still really scared...I don't think it matters how old you are! Laughing Cool Feel free to ask me anyquestions, and let us know how you get on! xxx
