Morning girls!!! Look at the freakin' time...been kicked in the ribs since about 0400 and just thought, oh blow it, may as well get up! Am knackered, but start work in half an hour!
How is everyone doing? Emma....good to hear from you! Cannot believe you are 19/20 weeks already! Where is the time going?!
Hi TRSGIRL....Welcome and congratulations!!!! Your symptoms are completely normal! Just try and get as much rest as you can, and the sickness does tend to come and go!
MOM....congrats on another lil baby boy!!! Any name ideas? How are you feeling? Thank you for your kind words...there is something slightly comforting about thinking that he is up there watching over us!
Hi Countrydiva.....it can take up to a year for your periods to get back to normal after coming of the pill, so if they start to be regular quickly, you are very lucky! In the meantime, you should start taking folic acid! It will be at least two weeks from the time you stop your pill before you even ovulate, so go for it soon....so the sickness and moodyness is nothing to worry about!
Well.....have been feeling really tearful these last few weeks .....feel extra hormonal, and anything can set me off again.....adverts and songs are especially tear-starters!! Feel like a complete emotional wreck, and am starting to get nervous-excited about the birth! In 11 weeks, I will be term (Arrgggghhhhhh.... ), and can't wait! I just want a cuddle! We are having a moses basket delivered today, and still have so much to do, and so much to buy! Starting to panic a bit that we won't be ready!
Better go to work!!! Hope you are all fab, and speak soon xxxxxx |

ODN - Sorry honey I haven't been on for a long-time but just had a quick catch-up and saw your post about your granddad. I know he is happy and watching out for you - sounds like a great man. Big belated hug x
I know about feeling emotional and believe me...it never ever goes once these little things come into our lives. I was never sentimental, never cried over a film...now I am a blobbing mess...blame it all on my little boy!
MOM - congrats on little Mr MOM, little boys are stinkers and lovely stinkers at that...but they really really do have a whole lot more excitable energy and never sit still. When I go to playgroup the girls tend to sit and play nicely together and have a sing-song whilst the boys are fighting in the corner...I've noticed mums to boys are a lot slimmer than mums to girls - hehehe we are worn out! One of each - the perfect family, well done Mr & Mrs MOM
As for me - yes I am worn out and Alexander is NOT sleeping - I haven't had a decent night's sleep in whats feels like months and months. I NEED SLEEP!
this is a MAD laugh |

Wow! There's action going on here again! I'm not getting reply notices AGAIN!! It's so good to see the pregnancies are going good for our prego mamas here (including all the pains and inconveniences that come with a kicking growing baby in you!)
Congratulations MOM on your little boy!!
Ambers- I hope you've gotten a bit of sleep now??? I hate feeling tired and that seems to be a constant companion these days....
We just finished a baby swim class and I have a couple of pics of Niklas under water:

It was so much fun doing that and I hope to be able to do another swim course with him at the end of sommer! |

Hello,
I am feeling so much better today-no longer need to sleep 12 hours a night and the sickness seems to have gone for now although I guess it could still come back! Been to the Midwife today, its a bit annoying as I have to go all over the shop.. doctors to see midwife, General hospital for blood tests and another clinic over the other end of town for scans and post natal. I think i better get myself a diary and get myself organized pronto!
Anyone got any plans for the weekend? I think we are going to tell my parents that we are expecting xx |

Hi girls!!!
Feeling absolutely full of beans, and excited today for no reason!!!
Have seen my midwife this morning, and I am measuring too big for my dates and will have to have a scan if bubs is not back in normal range for my BMI in four weeks time, my blood pressure is in my boots, and she wondered how I'm still standing, I am anaemic, but being the compliant patient that I am, I have declined iron tablets (they constipate and I have enough problems), and want to try and sort it out with herbal tablets and diet first, and will explai why I am so darned tired all of the time again, and baby's head is right under my ribs, so cannot get comfortable for the life of me....BUT......I feel great!!! Cannot wait to give baby a cuddle!!!
So how are the rest of you? Great to see some updates and some good news, and can't wait to hear from Ziggy....WE MISS YOU, GIRL!!! Much love xxxxxxxxxxxx |
