I hope i pass on my second test as i cant afford any more. The instructor i had was a woman and she was so moody, i tried to make a joke but she just said nothing and when she wanted me to turn left or right it was as if there was no effort at all to even saying it. She didnt even ask she just said 'Turn left, Turn right' but i only failed at the end for apparently not looking behind when i reversed in to a parking space.

so many people failing there driving tests, and yes im one of them, what reallly annoys me is how long you have to wait to get your next test 8-10 weeks,if anybody interested found this website www.drivingtestuk.co.uk they found me a test for a weeks time over the moon was not looking forward to waiting 8 weeks and paying out on all those lessons.
i failed my second driving test the other day and it stinks . especially as the examiner told me at the end that i am a good driver..in that case if im a good driver then why fail me?! aparently i went too close to a parked car ONCE and thats what failed me, along with 4 minors..if that parked car wasnt there at that time then i would have passed. he also told me that if i was an inch further away from the parked car i would have passed. An INCH?! To conclude.... i think thats the main reason why people fail because of slight things that could even happen to the best drivers. i think it all comes down to luck at the end of the day and if you have a nice examiner. if you have a mean examiner then your screwed.gud luk
i can completely understand you.. i failed my 5th test on saturday.. i just couldnt believe it.. thought it went really well too.. eveytime its on something different too.. this time around he failed me on something similar to you.. he said that i didnt look at a right turn that was obstructed my bushes.. when i know i did cos im quite keen on observation.. and the test before that i failed on undue hesitation.. so i was trying to be more assertive.. but i feel i cant win.. it just feels like its not meant to be somehow.. but im going to keep going.. im even going to change my instructor.. cos during my lessons i feel like i have to direct the lessons.. tell him what i want to do and guide the way.. as he wasnt too familar with the area.. so i think that might help.. its good to chat to others in a similar postion cos they/you are able to understand my frustration..
I failed my first driving test. To say that I was utterly devastated would an understatement. Not least because of the financial implications and the hassel of having to wait, but it was also one of my operational milestones for work, so I eneded up missing out on around £3000, despite having completed and surpassed every other milestone (Didn't have enough time to get another test in before the cut-off point). It stung.
Second time round, the tax had expired on the car (The day before the test!). Unbenknowst to us before arriving at the test centre, nothing could be done and the test couldn't go ahead. Needless to say, my instructer paid for the next booking and was deeply appologetic (she's a nice woman, and we all make mistakes from time to time).
Managed to get another test in a month later and passed with flying colours. I'm not very good at accepting defeat, so was darn determined to pass. (Realistically, I passed second time around, as the second "test" didn't even begin).
The reason I failed first time around was because I obliged to someone's kind offer to wave me on when reversing around the corner. Apparently, you shouldn't respond to these signals incase they are misinterpreted? It was clear as day to me..but there you go. A lesson to you all. So, if you're stuck in a stalemate with someone waving you on, don't go..just sit there for several hours.
I know how stressful it can be, particularly when you have a lot riding on it. Good luck to anyone out there who's currently working towards getting their driving license.
I just failed my frist driving test today. I'm pretty gutted especially as it was on mistakes i dont usually do! My instructor says it would have been just down to nerves but its still really annoying!
I got 2 majors and about 4 minors. My two majors were for going to close to a parked car and pulling out on a roundabout when i couldnt see past the van that was sitting next to me. (even though he was plenty big eneough to shield me from any traffic!). Anyway i suppose theyre all fair comments, and its not the end of the world.
Im gonna book my second test later tonight, hopefully i should be more prepared for this one and know what to expect.
They say people that pass second time are better drivers anyway .

i feel lyk an absulute S*** when i fail my tests ive failed 2wice and the assesor guy i had him 2wice, on my 1st and 2nd tym!!!!!!!! my parents make me feel lyk S*** when i fail and urrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh im just so fruatrated because i knwo i can drive!!!!!!!!!!! i am a good driver!!!!!!!!!!!!! its just that b***** assessor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not that im happy you lot have failed, but im glad theres others in my position :)
i failed my second drivin test today
I have to say i was alot less upset this time than I was first time but im still frustrated at the thought that i could be driving round right now!!
the first time i failed was totally my fault, a post man cut infront of me to get round a parked car and then i followed after him without noticing a car coming from the opposite direction as i was too busy watching the man on a bike, the car then had togive way to me..oops!
today i was pulled over on the side of the road and she told me to pull away when ready, so i put my indicator on and a taxi driver coming up from behind me slowed down so i assumed he was going to let me out, he then sped up and whizzed round me and i and the examenor both slammed on the brake!
so i failed again :( in all fairness to her she was really appologetic and wished me the best of luck for next time.
annoyed that i had my first test in april, failed this one in may and now hav to wait til june for another one. such a long and disheartening process.
goodluck to everyone :)

I failed my 2nd test today.....
1st - 8 minors 1 major for so called pulling out on a car!!
2nd - 8 minors 2 majors and 1 of those was for being too hesitant at a round about when noboby was signalling and so I was hard to say whether they were going to continue around or not!!!
Oh well.. I think its al about the statistics the examiner can only pass a certain amount of people in one day to avoid an investigation!
It is soooooo frustrating as you have to spend sooooo much money on the test day £86 and on lessons!!!
Oh wel wish me luck on my 3rd test.... when I can afford to book it!!

I have failed my driving test for the 2nd time today and has really annoyed me as they were on silly mistakes, i can't believe how strict on little things that are not necessarily dangerous they are so strict on!!
Does anyone have any tips as i am just so nervous for my next test as the feeling of disappointment is horrible!!!
Good Luck to anyone taking tests!!!
