The vast majority of pupils were infact 18 years old with a small minority being 17 not your quoted 16 or 17. Furthermore the clean up was quoted at £80 not hundreds. This cleaning was offerd to be done by and/or paid for by pupils this was infact refused by senior managment. With regards to the alcohol, bear in mind the majority were 18 anyway, was consumed in very minute quanities i.e 1 glass of champange each at the traditional leavers champagne breakfast. No-one was drunk. Evidence of this is the police's idea of us going down to the local public park - surely this would not have occured had we been intoxicated.
