oh odn i am so sorry to here about your grandad!
As i was reading it, it made me fill up cuz 14 years ago my grandad had the same cancer and he just wanted to live for as long as he could with out being treated and he just fell asleep peacefully.
when i was told that he had finally gone, i just knew he was no longer in pain anymore and he was with his son john who died tragically at 17 of electricution at work.

I was only saying the other day that if we had a boy we would call him jack and have is middle name as albert which was my grandads name.
I miss my grandad so much at times and now reading your story it brings it all back!

i am very sorry for your loss, hes somewhere now pain free and at peace and looking down on you every day just dont forget that.
heres a big Big Hug from me xxxx

ODN- I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandad Sad I'm glad he was able to die peacefully despite having cancer. As hard as it is saying "good-bye" to a loved one, it does make a bit easier when you know that he died the way he wanted to and had his chance to say his "good-byes". I was so sad when my Grandma died, but she had been bedridden and in pain for so many years, I knew it was a relief for her for her body to finally release her soul. And our grandparents know that a part of them is always kept alive in our memories and in our children...

ODN - I'm so sad to hear about your grandad passing away, I was really moved when I scanned through recent posts to see if I could catch up - and it sounds as if he went exactly how he wanted, peacefully and with his family round him. I know you'll miss him though - it's so painful, even when you know it's coming.

Nat - I'm delighted for you, congratulations!

Cheryle - he is just a wee dote!

Amberdite - and everyone - I've missed you all and although I haven't been _ I've wondered how you all are - really!

I'm on a higher dose of clomid now - 100mg - and no sign. But hey, lets see what this cycle brings.

I will try to get _ more often - I've missed so much . . .

Uhhhh huhhhh!!! Me too!!! Pray Really good to hear from you, Zig, and just keep popping in to let us know you're alreet! 100mgs of Clomid is THE bad boy for conceiving that much wanted baby! I think we all want your baby as much as you do!!! Very Happy Cheering you on, girl! Big Hug

Well girls, thank you for all your kinds words....it's been such a crap week. Have spent so much time with my family trying to console my poor Dad and Nan, and things are finally getting sorted, and we are holding the funeral next Friday. (They like to drag it out to 2 weeks around these parts) and as if it's not stressful enough, everything takes so much time to organise, and meet with the registrar, the vicar, collect the death certificate, and meet with the funeral home, sort out the music, and the flowers, and try to arrange some sort of wake afterwards, and on top of that, my Nan has never paid a bill in her life, and is really struggling with day-to-day things like that, and the banks, and informing everybody! There is so much to do, how do you have time to grieve? Rolling Eyes

Feeling OK now, and held it together until Tuesday, when I just lost it, and cried and cried and cried. Didn't think I would ever stop. Had to phone Mr ODN at work who had a complete panic attack, and just kept saying "What's wrong?" but I was crying to much to speak, until I blurted out "I miss Grandad!". Phew...needed that! Crying or Very sad

Otherwise things are OK....baby is kicking the bejesus out of me, and often wake up about 5am being kicked in the stomach which lasts for about an hour! Sign of things to come, I suppose! Better get used to it! Very Happy Cannot believe it is going so quick now, and am 25 weeks this weekend. Had scan on Monday that showed we had a 0.73% risk of prem birth, and pre-eclampsia...good to hear! I am on the Bounty forums, and one of the girls has already given birth at 26 weeks to a 2lb 6oz baby who is doing well. Scared me a touch! Shocked Also made me think that we really need to start buying things, and getting the nursery ready if we want to be organised.

How are you all feeling? Anymore scans/pics/news coming up?

Whoa...where are the weeks going? Shocked Thought I only wrote a few days ago...

Had Grandad's funderal last weekend...it was fit for a king, and such a beautiful day. He probably would have said what are you making all this bloody fuss for? Smile And it is so nice to see that in this day and age, people still have the decency to take of their hats, or bow their heads, and even saw ladies crossing themselves when Grandad was going past in the funeral procession. It is so respectful! The sunshine was blazing, and it was so hot, and the crem is so nice and peaceful...there were somany flowers. We just sat in the garden after with the family, and ate, drank (my "special" non-alcoholic wine Confused ) and just laughed and cried at the good times! Dad and my Nan have been a lot better since.

SO how is everyone feeling? Nat, I felt really tired too....but then it completely lifted at about 14 weeks. Have only slept through the night once or twice since I have been pregnant, for getting up to go to the loo. But small price to pay - better get used to it. Baby is now starting to come down onto bladder again now, and feel like I have to go every 5 minutes! Laughing

My boobs were really sore initially, and rock hard and I went up a cup size in bras (usually have fried-egg boobs..woo hoo). Now they have softened slightly and do not seem as full, although they are still sore. Am worried that my milk won't come in. Confused Have you got your scan date yet, and have you seen your midwife yet? Oooopppps....have just read back, and is it today? Hope it all goes OK...10 weeks now, huh? Wow...nearly out of that worrying first trimester!

How are all of you other girls? Sending you all giant Big Hug just becuse I feel really quietly happy, and reflective today! Much love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
