| Dreams don't obey any logic of the waking world at all, including things being discrete. In a dream things and people can blend like liquids, people can be combination of other people. I often dream of towns that are muddles of two places...such as a place part Islington, part Miami. |

| I must say, i am fascinated by these threads........ in my experience dreams are usually related to something that bothers you on a subconcious level. Could it not maybe mean that you are wondering if this person is a true friend, maybe they are hiding something? Or maybe you are considering changing the status of your relationship with this person to ...........i dunno............maybe a romantic type relationship? What do you think? |

Some interesting comments here...
I find it fascinating that our subconscious merges things together too but then I think that it looks at life different to how the conscious does (it has to). I believe that when we have these type of dreams (recognising things but they seem diff) that we are the unkown!
To see an unknown person in your dream, signifies a part of yourself that is repressed and hidden. Alternatively, it symbolizes the archetypal dream helper who is trying to offer some insight and advice. Who's to say that seeing someone you know but see them not as they are - you aren't examining your own ID bubbling underneath?
Just my humble opinion of course. |
