Nothing wrong with spanking him for wearing his sister's clothes. A great deal wrong with spanking him for wearing girls' clothes.

How so?

The boy should be punished for wearing his sister's cltohes wihtout first asking her permission. He should be punished equally if he were to borrow his brother's or his father's clothes without first asking permission. Of course some people are going to think spanking is the proper punishment while others will say spanking for any reason is child abuse and another form of discipline shoud be applied.

Many boys around puberty have a desire to try on girls' clothes. No one is certain of the reasons for this, although many think it has to do with hormone imbalances resulting from the onset of puberty. Boys (and girls) going through puberty have enough problems transitioning from children to adults without adding guilt to desires over which they have no control.

I don't exactly accept that, speaking as the father of four boys.

Every father of boys has a right to his opinion. I am a father of 3 boys...and 2 girls. And, quite frankly, I do accept what the guest wrote. Crossdressing is NOT something that you can "just give up" as you seem to think, Colonel, any more than most people can "just give up" smoking, or crack cocaine, for that matter.

It is an addiction, far more powerful than the first two I mentioned, because it is an addiction to a particular endorphin mix inside the brain. I would even go so far as to say that it is even more addicting than, say, the addiction some relatively few men have to sexual predation or pedophilia--because they have to go out and get their "fix" from someone else, whereas all a crossdresser has to do is THINK about what turns him on. NO ONE, and that includes YOU, Colonel, apparently, who has never crossdressed, has even an iota of understanding of what the particular "fix" is that results from it. Those who have experienced some form of substance addiction have some understanding, but "pure as the driven snow" types, such as, again apparently, yourself, are excluded from that category as well.

And none of my sons are gay, and none are crossdressers either. BTW, Your definition of Homophobic differs substantially from mine. I take the term's meaning literally--phobia means fear. Period. It doesn't mean "aversion to", or "prejudice against", and it sure as hell doesn't mean "disapproval of". The all-inclusive definition is very convenient for people like you and GandP, because it enables you to use it against ANYONE who says anything at all against what you perceive as the truth about homosexuality.

So you're a crossdresser then?

And according to the Oxford English Dictionary which upholds The Queen's English, homophobia is defined as "a dislike or fear of homosexuals or homosexuality."

So, under that definition, that makes you homophobic. Let me guess - it's due to religion isn't it? Rolling Eyes

And I wouldn't bet on the fact that none of your kids are gay, because they may well be. As the father of a gay child I know what causes it. You can argue all you want about that, but what was it you were saying about "pure as the driven snow"?

I bet it's all to do with religion YET AGAIN.

What does your sister think of you wearing her clothes?

But that can not be construed to mean that all phobias are bad. Neither can it be said, except of course with contemporary Queen's English, that a mere dislike equates to a real phobia. Ever submarine sailor, myself included, has a very strong dislike of saltwater entering the boat. But we didn't live in fear of it. The same can be said of many other phobias in including the recently coined term "homophobia". I have a very strong dislike of homosexuality, but I do not fear homosexuals.

I hear that it is against the law in Britain to express an opinion that might offend. That is so very sad.

From the tone of your other posts I conclude that you have a crippling phobia about religion and the people who practice. I will point out that the part of the definition you conveniently neglected to mention is that phobias are, also by definition, irrational. Dislike of the distasteful can only be declared irrational by law. But that changes nothing. What is vile remains vile.

Your dislike is clearly irrational.

I do not fear the religious, though they are dangerous (9/11, 7/7, Phelps, Jamestown massacre etc etc etc). My dislike is not irrational. It is based on real, observed evidence.

Your dislike of gays is not. You are purely a bigoted fool.

How old are you? Your username is "wanabeagirl." Does that mean you really want to be a girl or just dress like a girl?

First, good luck and enjoy it. I'm a CD too, but started late.

Second - do your sister know you borrow her clothes? Do your parents know? do they like it?

Do you have money of your own someway that you can buy your own things?

Do you have friends who know? maybe girls who'd help you?

Yes, having an erection whilst cross dressing is a competely normal reaction. You are being stimulated by the clothes and your body is reacting to the stimulation. It is nothing to be concerned about. You should have a lot more concern if you did NOT get an erection whilst dressing in girls' things.

It's not the case that all boys crossdress, but if you do, it's perfectly normal to be aroused by the experience.

I got aroused too when I would try on my sister's clothes at your age. My sister wasn't very understanding though and I got soundly spanked (by her) for touching her stuff.
