There are loads of sites not that you really need a site to do that (in fact it's better to do it on your own machine if you can).
What kind of photo resizing do you actually need to do? (What's it for?) |

It was just to add a photo to my profile.
Did try to do it on my fuji site, but need to make it small to go with this site. |

| Try Irfanview. I have used it for years. And it is free. |

I've been running PP8 for a few years now... It does everything I need in artist's pix editor, and a lot more, but it doesn't do flames, nor paste to paste... Only ten amero-bucks+change, for the CD... Anything else that does the same, with so much ease, costs $180 to $400...
You can get PP6 free, as your first freebie pix editor, but it's a pain in the butt compared with PP8 and up...
Irfanview is the very best photo viewer, resizer, deleter, and Super for cleaning up the windows operating system.. it finds junk-stuff that you can't any other way... You need Irfanview along with a good photo editor like PP8, up to PP11...
Add WinWall to allow you to change your desktop wallpaper pix in a second...

http://www.irfanview.com/

http://www.serif.com/
I've found that the Serif people are Prime People, to help you with your software and photo solutions softwares... They listen, and they reply... Plus they've got a super forum going... They mean what they say.. and their stuff works like it say on the box... There's no bad in that company... |

Another vote here for Irfanview.
Free, powerful and yet lightweight. And free.
Did I mention free? |

| If you're willing to pay a few bucks, Kneson Imagineer, even their basic version, beats irfanview (I know--I have both), and their unlimited version supposedly rivals the NSA's technology. |

A silly little prob that I just can't fix...
I do a format-C and OS install, and add the CD of pix editing... When I edit, and save a pix, Photoplus-8 wants to save the new edits in SPP... PP8 won't save nor export it in JPG unless I rename the pix...
When I do the same with Irfanview, it just won't save until I rename the pix...
Why?..
How can W98se be configured so those programs will save a freshly edited, CD loaded pix in JPG..? |

Never heard of Photoplus, so I can't comment there.
I've never experienced the problem you describe with Irfanview, so I can't help you there.
But so long as you're formatting your drive? Install Ubuntu instead. Then fire up the Gimp. |

You can also get a version of GIMP that will run on W98SE here. |

| I tried Gimp.. it was too under developed, coarse, and slow, compared to PP8.. and doesn't do the things PP8 does... Gimp's smudge causes bars and ripples.. and Gimp's archives are the pits to access... |

True, but it might not resolve the weird "cannot save" issue he seems to be having.
I just figured, as long as he's reformatting, what would it hurt to install Ubuntu and give it a try? |
